The Department of Psychology at the Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences held an Orientation and Acquaintance Program for first-year students joining the department in the 2026-2027 academic year. The event took place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, in classroom A101, with strong participation from both students and faculty members.
The program began with an opening speech and a welcome message from Prof. Dr. Bozkurt Koç, the academic advisor for first-year students. This was followed by a meet-and-greet session where students had the opportunity to interact with the department's academic staff.
After the introductions, Research Assistant Dr. Doğan Güneş Temli delivered an orientation presentation providing detailed information on the undergraduate curriculum, course registration and examination processes, and key points to facilitate the transition to university life.
In the final part of the program, Vice Chair of Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Elif Ünal and Research Assistant Dr. Doğan Güneş Temli answered students' questions and provided further information regarding the process.
