Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) of the Psychology Department:

To train competent graduates who possess the fundamental theories, current applications, and research methods of psychology.
To train graduates who can think critically and analytically, follow current developments in the field, and adhere to fundamental and professional ethical principles.
To train graduates who can carry out their academic and applied studies taking into account interdisciplinary and intercultural differences.
To train graduates who are not prejudiced against differences; who have a sense of social responsibility, and who respect universal values and human rights.
To train graduates who possess basic observation, interviewing, and psychological counseling skills that can explain cognitive, emotional, and behavioral processes.
