Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) of the Psychology Department:
- To train competent graduates who possess the fundamental theories, current applications, and research methods of psychology.
- To train graduates who can think critically and analytically, follow current developments in the field, and adhere to fundamental and professional ethical principles.
- To train graduates who can carry out their academic and applied studies taking into account interdisciplinary and intercultural differences.
- To train graduates who are not prejudiced against differences; who have a sense of social responsibility, and who respect universal values and human rights.
- To train graduates who possess basic observation, interviewing, and psychological counseling skills that can explain cognitive, emotional, and behavioral processes.
