The program was established by a General Assembly decision dated June 19, 2014. Candidates who have completed their undergraduate studies in Psychology can apply to this program. Applicants to the thesis-based master's program must have an ALES score of at least 55. Admission to the thesis-based master's programs is calculated by taking 50% of the ALES score, 30% of the undergraduate GPA, and 20% of the entrance exam score. The total score must be at least 60. Candidates scoring below 50 on the entrance exam are considered unsuccessful. In case of equal scores, the candidate with the higher ALES score is preferred. The procedures and principles regarding the admission of foreign nationals who have completed their undergraduate education abroad and Turkish citizens to postgraduate programs are determined by the Senate. The thesis-based master's program consists of 24 national credits and 120 ECTS credits. Graduates of the Psychology Thesis-Based Master's Program can continue their doctoral studies if they meet the necessary requirements. They can also be employed as specialist psychologists in public institutions and organizations or in the private sector. The number of available places and other information regarding program applications are announced on the Graduate Institute website at the beginning of the relevant academic year.

- Program Facilities: The Psychology Department has "Observation and Interview Rooms" with mirrored glass windows where applied courses can be conducted, and where individual and group interviews can be held, with audio and video recording facilities. Clinical interviews are also conducted in collaboration with the Psychology Application Research Center (PUAMER) within our university.
