The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences 2025-2026 Spring Semester Academic Board Meeting, held on April 27, 2026, hosted a meaningful ceremony to honor academics who have contributed to scientific production. The meeting began with a minute of silence in memory of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, his comrades-in-arms, and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our homeland, followed by the recitation of the Turkish National Anthem.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Yeliz Kındap Tepe, Asst. Prof. Dr. Elif Ünal, and Research Assistant Doğan Güneş Temli were honored with Certificates of Appreciation by our Dean, Prof. Dr. Vedat Keleş, for their project achievements that have contributed to scientific literature and institutional development.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Vedat Keleş emphasized that the award-winning academics are a source of pride for our faculty, and that these achievements serve as a concrete source of motivation and a call to action for the entire academic staff in creating social impact.
We congratulate all our academics, who have once again proven the academic competence and project-producing potential of our department, and wish them continued success.
