Within the framework of the cooperation protocol between Ondokuz Mayıs University and the Çarşamba Probation Directorate, officials from the Çarşamba Probation Directorate—Director Habil KANOĞLU, Deputy Director Murat KOÇ, and social worker İlknur KOCA DEĞİM—paid a visit to our department. Representing our department, our Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Yeliz KINDAP TEPE, our academic staff members, and the President of the Psychology Society, Eda Nur GÜNGÖR, attended the meeting. During the meeting, potential academic collaborations in the field of psychology, practice-oriented joint project topics, applied studies, and internship opportunities to be offered to psychology students were discussed in detail. In addition, it was decided to organize a panel for students in collaboration with the Psychology Society. As the Department of Psychology, we will continue to carry out initiatives that bring our students together with practical fields and to further strengthen our collaborations.
