Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) of the Psychology Department

Our department aims to instill the following educational objectives in its graduates:

EO 1) To train competent graduates who possess the basic theories, current applications, and research methods of psychology.
EO 2) To train graduates who can think critically and analytically, follow current developments in the field, and adhere to basic and professional ethical principles.
EO 3) To train graduates who can carry out their studies in academic and applied fields by taking into account interdisciplinary and intercultural differences.
EO 4) To train graduates who are not prejudiced against differences; who have a sense of social responsibility, and who respect universal values and human rights.
EO 5) To train graduates who possess basic observation, interview, and psychological counseling skills that can explain cognitive, emotional, and behavioral processes.
