Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) of the Psychology Department
- LO 1. Possessing up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge specific to the field of psychology.
- LO 2. Ability to understand the rules governing how relationships between people and societies function; the ability to comprehend interpersonal and cross-cultural differences.
- LO 3. To be non-prejudiced against differences within the framework of professional ethical principles and responsibilities; to respect universal values and human rights.
- LO 4. Ability to identify theoretical and practical problems in the field of psychology, independently plan research, use quantitative and qualitative techniques, interpret research findings, and report them in accordance with scientific writing formats.
- LO 5. Ability to collaborate with subfields of psychology and different disciplines, and to take responsibility as an individual and team member in their field.
- LO 6. Ability to organize and implement projects and activities for the social environment in which they live, with a sense of social responsibility, and to share their views on this matter with relevant institutions and experts.
- LO 7. Adopting a lifelong learning approach in personal and professional development.
- LO 8. Ability to think scientifically, analytically, creatively, and critically in personal and professional fields of activity.
- LO 9. Possessing basic observation, interviewing, and psychological counseling skills that can explain human cognitive, emotional, and behavioral processes.
